Screen Jelly

Learned about a new screencasting tools! Screen Jelly! You can use it to post to your Twitter, or even email...check it out! Also another one called Screen Toaster!

  1. Thanks for sharing Joanie! I am excited to try out Screen Jelly. My new favorite screencast activity is displaying a fluency passage on the screen, having students capture the passage while reading it (and recording) then allowing them to play it back and assess their own fluency.

  3. I think Screen Jelly is quite simple to use - wish you could record longer than 3 minutes. I really like that you don't have to download the program.

  4. I really like screen cast so I can record instructions for students that were absent so they can watch the video while I can be with the rest of the class. Screen Jelly is just another "sweet" application of the program.

  6. I agree with Brenda. What makes this easier to use than jing and sreencast is that you don't have to go out on the web and download your video. It saves time.

  7. I had to check out Screen Jelly just because I like that name. It looks really easy to use. I like KD's idea about using these types of tools for fluency. Thanks for sharing.
