There is discussion of learning styles and our school has recently been trained in Quantum Learning. Through this all of our students grades 3-12 took a survey and learned their styles. I did some searching and found the following website that has some great sites based on learning styles...check it out!

I can't wait to take time to visit the websites that are on the site you have on your blog. Learning Styles has always been a focus in my teaching. Thanks

ReplyDeleteWe've had Quantum training in our school. I checked out some of the sites - the audio books are amazing. I will share your site with others in school! Thank you - great resource!
ReplyDeleteI really like that idea of having the students identify their own styles--even as young as 3rd grade! The idea is not a new one, it just requires time & energy. Being a very visual person myself, I appreciate all of these sites to get students to organize their thoughts & be able to use graphics & other visual aids to communicate. These students are so visually stimulated on a constant basis, these websites appear to be very useful.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to take a closer look at this! Thank you for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a comprehensive, at least for the time, site. We often focus on our own personal learning style and it is important to plan for so many differing learning styles. This is a great reminder and resource. Our school was also trained in Quantum Learning so this site is a compliment to those strategies. Thank you for sharing. It will definitely take some time to read through all of the information.
