Interactive Globe

The globe in the Washington Education Center is awesome.
I created a short video of the demonstration using
my flipcam. I apologize for the sound, but you can see
what it looks like. It's huge and can display all kinds of
information.

    I didn't imagine it that big! It would be incredible to show the students this model to help them understand the concepts. What was your favorite feature of the globe?

    I had no idea this existed in Montana and would love to utilize it in teaching geography & just Social Studies in genereal. I could see this fitting into my classroom very well. Now, where to get the funding...?

    I did not know the Washington Education Center was finished on the U of M campus. The plans I saw for the Center were really cool. That globe is a good example of how high tech the Center was supposed to be. I will check it out in person.
