Cadre groups
Everyone has joined learning groups to focus on different social networking sites. These include facebook, twitter, wordpress, google sites, ning and one called mixed bag. The latter will include wetpaint, livestream, diigo, flickr, artsonia, ccmixter and you tube. Everyone will be exploring these sites and will report back throughout the year on their usefullness in the classroom.

ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how expansive the social networking sites have become. I do miss the days when we actually got together for dinners and/or visits. I suppose with such busy schedules this is next best method of communicating?! I do look forward to learning about them but wow, so much to learn!

I'd love to hear how these will integrate into the curriculum. I'll have to check these out myself. Wow there is a lot out there. Keep up the good research.
